Sign the Letter to the Grand Rapids Police Department
Recent videos of a Grand Rapids Police Department officer striking an individual in the head have prompted renewed public discussion about the department’s use-of-force policies. We believe this moment presents an opportunity for constructive policy change.
West Michigan Clergy Action is inviting clergy to sign the attached letter from Concerned Clergy of Grand Rapids calling on the GRPD to revise its use-of-force policy to prohibit intentional strikes to a person’s head, neck, or spine except in the most extraordinary life-threatening circumstances. https://www.jotform.com/
